Vintage Asian-style apothecary chest/small dresser finished in red lacquer with black-trimmed drawer surrounds. Seven drawers total: three rows of two small drawers plus one long bottom drawer, each fitted with brass bail pulls. Drawer fronts are decorated with gilt Chinese script in the traditional apothecary/herbalist style. Raised on carved bracket feet.
Good condition with light wear commensurate with age, including some finish crazing and gilt fading consistent with a vintage piece.
